La Marque High School was recognized this week by the Galveston County Commissioners Court for its academic achievement and recognition from the State of Texas.

Galveston County commissioners presented a proclamation honoring LMHS and celebrating the accomplishments of its students, teachers and administrators. State Rep. Terri Leo Wilson also presented a proclamation recognizing the school’s achievement.

Texas City ISD extends a special thank you to Galveston County Commissioner Dr. Robin Armstrong for placing the recognition on the Commissioners Court agenda and helping highlight the accomplishments taking place at La Marque High School.

The recognition reflects the hard work and commitment of the entire LMHS community, including students, teachers, administrators, staff and families.

Texas City ISD is proud of the continued progress at La Marque High School and congratulates everyone who has played a role in this achievement.
